Private Guides

Are you new to cold water diving?  Perhaps you haven't been diving in awhile?  Maybe you simply want to relax knowing you have a professional buddy who will navigate you around our waters and insure you see everything our waters offer.

We provide private instructor guides to insure you enjoy the transition to our colder waters, so you can relax and dive worry free, maximizing your enjoyment underwater.

The cost for a private instructor guide is based on the number of divers.

1 diver - $180

2 divers - $240

3 divers - $320

4 divers - $400

You must also purchase a boat spot for your guide(s).

Boat Diving

Boat trips are all day excursions.  Plan to be out 6am to 4pm typically.

The California boats do not provide guides to tour divers around underwater.  We offer private instructor guides as one of our services.

Single day boat trips are 3 tank dives with breakfast, lunch and snacks included.

The cost to book a spot on most boats run $140-150 per diver.  If you need to rent gear it is @$75 per diver.

Trips normally run on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays.

You can board some boats and sleep onboard the night before your trip to eliminate the cost of a hotel stay.

Do you want to see what beach diving can offer?

Do you only have a half day to spare during your visit?

Local beach diving can provide you the opportunity to do 1 or 2 dives and still make that afternoon appointment.

We offer private guided beach dives on Saturday or Sunday.

You can expect to see small interesting creatures like pipefish, angel sharks, octopus, rays, crabs, sea stars and other invertebrates.

Scuba Diving Anacapa Island

"Tropical" conditions do occur at Anacapa Island.  A favorite dive site on the backside called "Underwater Island" during an especially good day of diving.

Beach Diving Refugio State Beach

Pipefish are a favorite find off this local beach.  We also frequently spot angel sharks, octopus, crabs, rays, sea stars and various other invertebrates.
